STEELHEAD CINEMA is a production company based on the California Central Coast that aims to blend world-class brands with exceptional photography and films. Their diversely talented team works to partner with businesses as an extension of their marketing department to bring their stories to life.
THE CHALLENGE
Every brand has a story to tell. But telling it in an authentic and captivating way is where most of us get caught up. Not everyone is comfortable being in front of the camera and most marketing videos fall short. They lack heart and soul, just skimming the surface of the brand as opposed to digging deep into the passion and love behind it, but Acacia Productions puts its client’s passion at the forefront of the story.
THE CREATIVE SOLUTION
The brand was built off of the concept of capturing the spirit of one’s craft from the ground up. Not just telling the story of the end product, but the journey that brought it to where it is. The logo is meant to feel approachable and a bit utilitarian giving off a stamp-like quality and some grittiness. An earthy color palette evokes a sense of warmth taking cues from the land and the hard work put in by all the makers and doers on the California Central Coast.
A story to tell –
When developing the website for Acacia Productions we wanted to make sure their stunning photography and films took center stage. Their brand was built around their love of telling the stories of craftsmen, creatives, and entrepreneurs on the California Central Coast so we wanted to highlight as much of that as possible throughout their website. From wineries and cattle ranchers to ceramicists and surf shops, there is an incredible amount of talent and passion in this community and Acacia Productions strives to shine a spotlight on the soul of each of these brands.
